Haslet Real Estate

Strategically located right in the path of Alliance Airport growth corridor with the airport and Fed Ex’s Southwest Regional Hub right next door, it comes as no surprise that Haslet is one of the ten most notable high growth areas in the United States. Haslet is situated in the northwest portion of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex half way in between downtown Fort Worth and Denton with easy connections to get you to any area of the Metroplex or 15 minutes to DFW Airport. The BNSF Railway runs straight through the city, and the Alliance Intermodal Facility is within close proximity as well.

Although Haslet remains a small community, the city’s tax base is estimated to be approximately $750 million thanks to several large distribution centers based in the city, including Michael’s, Kraft and Fed Ex. Business-friendly Haslet has built centers such as Alliance Crossings, Le Tara Village and Haslet Corners to attract retail and restaurants to serve its residents. Old Town Haslet is also being groomed as a future mixed-use development with dining and shopping destinations for the entire area. Haslet businesses serve not only the city’s local population but also those of several nearby fast growing residential developments including Sendera Ranch, a 2,900 plus acre community which forecasts over 9,500 single-family residential home sites when completely built out.

Haslet’s annual Haslet Hustle, Haunted Halloween Hayride, Christmas Tree Lighting, Wild West Fest, July 4th Celebration and Movies in the Park are some of the community activities providing a high quality of life to Haslet residents. Haslet has one of the lowest tax rates around and most of its home sites are half an acre and above. The city has a very low crime rate, an excellent parks system with parks, walking trails and game playing fields as well as a professionally ranked 18-hole disc golf course. The Haslet Sports Association offers baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball. Haslet also has a modern library with 40,000 items circulated, annually. As student enrollment in Northwest ISD continues to climb, the district will open its third comprehensive high school in 2015.
